Color Wheels

To begin the semester, we'll go over the syllabus and then watch a lecture on color theory. Our first quiz will be on Friday, Jan. 9th. We'll make 5 wheels:

• Basic color wheel
• Value wheel (b/w)
• 2 color value wheels: one tint and one shade
• complementary color intensity wheel

Color wheels teach you control, help you to understand basic concepts and aid in future color mixing.

For the first week, you'll need your paints, Bristol board, brushes, and palette.
